Early this year I had the privilege of photographing Andrew for this award
We're thrilled to celebrate the recipients of this year's Harrison Award, recognizing recent grads making a lasting impact on the Cornell community in their first decade post-graduation!
Meet Andrew Massaro, CVM '15, a true Cornell Veterinary legacy, following in the footsteps of his parents (both DVM '86) and brother (DVM '19)! Since earning his degree, Andrew has built his career at his family's small animal practice in Medford, NJ, while giving back significantly to his alma mater, serving on the College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association Executive Board since 2020 (now treasurer).
"There's a pretty special culture at the Veterinary College. Cornell was one of the first vet schools in the country to adopt a problem-based learning curriculum, and they've really mastered it. It actually starts from day one of your freshman year and continues throughout the entire curriculum," said Massaro.
