Good question! Haven is my daughter and the namesake for both Havn Photography AND Safe Havn Studio LLC. She's pretty special.

I work full time for the Lansing School District and run the studio and photography business on the side. I absolutely love creating art behind the camera and my work schedule blesses me with lots of summer free time.

If you told me I could only choose one type of photography for the rest of my life, I would say without even having to think about it; Birth Photography. A close second being any family session and anything wildly creative.

I am a Lansing local but willing to travel 🫶
