POV: You get to photograph a family where the love is so easy to see.

Not because everything is perfectly posed.

But because of the way their kids lean into them.

The way they reach for their hands.

The way they laugh, cuddle, play, and feel completely free to be themselves.

The way their children feel seen, and so deeply loved.

That’s the part of family photography I’ll never get over.

Not just capturing what this season looks like —

but what it feels like to be loved like this. 🤍

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t always dream of having a girl.

God knew I needed her in my life, and I feel like the luckiest mom in the world that I got not just a daughter, but this little girl.

She brightens my world every single day.

I follow another photographer who captures kids with all their favorite things in their current stage of life, and it inspired me to do the same for my daughter.

Her favorite stuffies. Her favorite toys. Her favorite blanket. Her favorite books. Her tiny collections. Captured in her favorite place to be. (Home)

These are the moments I want to remember forever. Exactly as she is right now.

Her personality. Her imagination. The way she jumps on her bed every night.

I hope someday she looks back at these photos and remembers the small, simple, beautiful pieces of her childhood.

The memories that made her feel loved.
The room that held so much of her imagination.
And the little girl she was at 4 years old.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms. 🤍

To the moms holding tiny hands, wiping tears, packing snacks, making memories, running on coffee, and giving so much of themselves every single day… I hope today you feel celebrated, loved, and seen.

Motherhood is made up of so many little moments. The bedtime snuggles, the messy kitchens, the hand-drawn cards, the deep breaths, the laughter, the chaos, and the kind of love that changes everything.

I feel so lucky to capture these seasons for so many beautiful families, and even luckier to live this season of motherhood myself.

Happy Mother’s Day. You are doing an amazing job.

Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones we remember most.

A quiet pause.
A flower picked with tiny hands.
That little smile you know so well.

As a photographer, these are the moments I’m always looking for. Not the perfectly posed ones, but the in-between pieces of childhood that feel honest, sweet, and fleeting.

Because one day, you’ll want to remember exactly how little they were. 🤍

Would you believe me if I told you this photo was taken in a parking lot? 👀

Yep. A parking lot.

Because here’s the thing: the location matters way less than you think it does.

A good photographer isn’t just looking for a pretty place. They’re looking for the light, the angles, the texture, the little pockets of magic most people would walk right past.

Sometimes the best photo spot isn’t the field, the garden, or the perfectly planned location.

Sometimes it’s the corner with beautiful light.
The little patch of greenery behind the cars.
The simple background that lets your family be the focus.

So if you’re worried about choosing the “perfect” location for your session, take a deep breath. That’s my job.

Your job is to show up, love on your people, and trust that I’ll find the beauty.

Even in a parking lot.
