When they said “life’s a marathon not a race,” I think they forgot just how long a marathon really is. 😩
And I get it, that’s absolutely not the point they were ever trying to make with that statement, but when every day feels like a race against time it’s real difficult to fall into the slow and steady pace.
You wake up and it’s a rush to get the kids ready for the bus or loaded into the car AND get yourself ready so you can make it to school drop off and work on time. By the time you finally get to take your second sip of coffee it’s colder than a witchy’s t***y in December even though you didn’t make or order it iced. Your work day is a blur and a strategic game of ‘can I ignore this teams call or do I HAVE to actually answer this?’ You barely clock out before you’re running out the doors and heading to the school to either pick up your kids or shuttle seemingly half of the neighborhood to different practices and home after. And then you gotta feed ‘em!? And then they start asking you geometry questions and the best you’ve got is the pythagorean theorem “A squared + B squared = C squared, sorry kid.”
But what if…
A squared was actually👇🏼
Attention & Acceptance
And B squared was actually👇🏼
Belonging & an actual damn Break from the chaos
And added together actually equaled the C squared of👇🏼
Connection & Calmness
That’s what a bo***ir session with me is.
It’s attention to YOU, for you, because you deserve to be the priority, the focus, the center of attention.
It’s acceptance of you and your body just as you are in the present moment, and everything you’ve been through in this crazy life- just as you are.
It’s feeling like you belong in your bones and remembering exactly who the hell you are aside from all of the daily tasks you check off your to-do list.
It’s a break from the day-to-day chaos. It’s a day JUST for you where the only thing that matters is how you feel and being present with yourself.
It’s a space to reconnect with yourself so you can show up in your daily life with more confidence.
It’s a mindset shift that quiets the never-ending, “mooooom! Have you seen my xyz?” and allows you to respond calmly, “it’s on the table,” instead of your normal over-stimulated response of, “well if you put it where it belonged, you’d know where it is.” It’s the mindset shift that gives you permission to professionally tell your boss that 25-cent raise was some bu****it and back it up with your metrics to confidently and calmly ask for a better raise without shaking like a leaf.
The effects of your bo***ir session don’t end when you walk out of the studio door; they carry over into how you show up in your own life.
If you’re ready to drink your coffee hot and forget that you’re not the only person in the world, I have a February opening with your name on it.
You tell me what your favorite coffee order is and show up with a couple pairs of panties—I’ll handle everything else for you, from head to toe and everything in between.
DM me “FEBRUARY” if you’re tired of the rat-race of life and need a day just for you.
