Ran into this little guy up by Bruces Parking Lot.....he was right off the HWY but didn't see mom (this photo was shot with a long lens - I didn't get too close to the baby moose)...........then yesterday I ran into a female moose (probably mom) on the trail in the Sinks....she walked on the trail all along the river to the University of Missouri Geology cabins and crossed the river where the bridge is for the geology camp to the other cabins on the other side of the river. So be careful out there. If it's the same female as years past....she can get pi**ed off pretty fast.

FB messed up the biz pages long ago.....but I think its time I start using the page again. We will see how well it works. I haven't seen the messages from this page in YEARS. So sorry for all of you that tried to contact me through here. FB stopped sending me notifications and thats one of the reasons I gave up on this page but now it seems to be better. We will see.

Got us a bottle of V***e Clicquot pink Champagne which I wanted to try after watching the movie Widow Clicquot……I have to say it’s REALLY good!! And was surprised to see the portrait of her on the bottle cap….she ran this company till she was 82 and fought off Moet (as in Moet & Chandon champagne)from taking over the neighboring Clicquot vineyards…….he tried many times to take advantage of her being a widow…saying a woman wasn’t capable of running a vineyard…..she not only proved him wrong but she invented many things to improve champagne bottling and also was the first to try to leave the skins on some of the grapes to make a pink champagne…..well….i don’t drink a lot of champagne but this is certainly the best I’ve ever had!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone !!! I’m thankful for so many things including family and friends but also for women like the widow Clicquot who paved the way for women to prove they are capable of doing amazing things.

Special Senior gallery. This is Atalie.....I have been photographing her and her family for the last 14 years. It's been amazing watching her and her sisters grow up. They are all like daughters to me. Love ya Atalie!!!
