Not every love story fits nearly into a box - and that's exactly what made this session so special.

Ashton and Wade traveled to Hocking Hills to celebrate Wade's 23rd birthday with a romantic getaway, and I had the privilege of joining them for a sunrise adventure at Old Man's Cave. From the moment we met, their connection was undeniable. They were playful, affectionate, completely comfortable together, and so clearly in love.

I absolutely loved that they embraced their unique style and showed up as their authentic selves. Their coordinating purple and black outfits, adorned with skull details, perfectly reflected their personalities and created such a beautiful contest against the lush green forests and sandstone cliffs of Hocking Hills.

One of my favorite things about photography is telling your story - not creating a version of who someone thinks you should be. Ashton and Wade did exactly that, and the result was pure magic.

We spent the morning exploring, laughing, and creating images that felt genuine to who they are as a couple. By the end of our adventure, we were already talking about their future wedding, and I couldn't be more excited about the possibility of documenting the next chapter of their story.

Happy 23rd Birthday, Wade, and thank you both for inviting me into such a meaningful celebration. 🖤

✨ Sneak Peeks for Billy & Krystal Finissi ✨

Some wedding days just feel effortless.

This weekend, Billy and Krystal exchanged vows surrounded by the lush green beauty of the Hocking Hills, celebrating their marriage with family and friends at the stunning Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center.

From the thoughtful details that reflected their story, to the joyful laughter shared with loved ones, every part of their day felt intentional, heartfelt, and full of love. One of my favorite details was Krystal's gown hanging in the doorway as she prepared for the day ahead, her new married name, Finesse, and wedding date displayed proudly on the keepsake hanger - a beautiful reminder that life was about to change forever.

The woodland portraits in the surrounding forest were pure magic. Bright green foliage, warm sunshine, perfect temperatures, and two adventurous souls beginning their next chapter together.

Billy and Krystal have already built a beautiful history together, and after witnessing the love and support surrounding them this weekend, it is easy to see that their future will be just as remarkable.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Finissi!

🖤📸 Luke and Natalie had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at their private cabin in the Hocking Hills. If you have ever worked with me before... you have probably heard me say, "okay... feel free to tell me no, but what if we..." followed by an idea that may sound a little crazy in the moment! I'm sure I sounded a little bananas when I had this beautiful couple climb into a hammock together during their reception! A hammock is not your signature wedding day prop, but it tells the story of the venue they chose. A quiet cabin in the Hocking Hills nestled by a lake.

The backlighting is so beautiful in this shot... it is as if the sun itself is blessing their marriage. I prefer the black and white conversion here for this very reason. His gentle touch on her arm features his wedding band, we can see the bouquet, the boutonniere, the veil, the details... the CONNECTION. The way he holds her so tenderly... like she is the most precious jewel on the planet. This portrait tells a story and I simply adore it.

💚🌿 Senior Portraits with 2026 Senior Model Halle Eastep 🌿💙

I have worked with Halle throughout her senior year in my Senior Model Program. Halle had a different photoshoot for each season of the year AND she got to have a personal session wherever she chose. Halle chose the woods and creek behind her childhood home and oh my goodness the results! It was early spring, the trees were still bare but it created a lovely neutral palate for our gorgeous subject to really shine! Halle shares so many childhood memories playing with her dad in this creek. I was lucky enough to capture some candids of him carrying her spot to spot for her shoot; absolutely priceless. How many times did he carry her on his shoulders through those woods just like that throughout her life? I was so honored to be there in that space, sharing precious memories with this incredible family. I am so blessed to share in beautiful milestones with some of the most incredible and inspirational families one could hope to meet. I look forward to sharing more of Halle's senior year with you in the coming days.

🌿 I am thrilled to share these magical portraits of Newlyweds Natalie & Luke. 💞

Authenticity is important to this incredible couple and they crafted a wedding celebration like no other! They had a ceremony and reception at a beautiful cabin in the Hocking Hills with delicious food, corn hole tournaments, a campfire, and great music in the woods by the lake as the sunset. The groom looked incredible in his dark purple suit and the bride was absolutely breathtaking in her chic black gown. I love that this couple chose a wardrobe that felt authentic to them!

Although the cabin was beautiful, capturing couples portraits at the nearby Hocking Hills State Parks was an opportunity this couple didn't want to miss! It was also important to them that we didn't keep their guests waiting on the wedding day, so we planned to rendezvous at sunrise after the wedding day! We celebrated into the night together for the reception, got some rest, and then I met with Luke & Natalie first thing in the morning for a proper Hocking Hills Adventure! We hiked to both Cedar Falls and Rock House (they were absolute champs in their formal attire!). Oh the results of their efforts are just dazzling!!!!! And what a memory for this couple to treasure forever! We explored these magical places on their first morning as husband and wife.

I am sharing just a handful of their same day previews; their full gallery will be a dream! I feel so lucky I got to work with this amazing couple. I am excited to share more of them with you in the coming weeks! Thank you for reading and CONGRATULATIONS to Luke & Natalie!
