AeroFlite Aerial Firefighting Avro RJ85 returning from the near Pearblossom today. One quick drop before returning for the day. The fixed wind and helicopters prove to be extremely helpful when fighting California’s wildfires!

Also, listen closely at the end for the air turbulence after the RJ85 passes overhead. It’s one of my favorite sounds while out watching aerial fighting.

Sunday seems like a good day to share a couple B-2 Spirit highlights from years past. One of the best parts of the aerospace valley is being able to see aircraft like this! It’s rare when it flies, so being able to catch is always incredible. Listen to the sound of these B-2 Spirits!

Highlights from the 2024 MCAS Miramar Airshow!

USMC aviation showcased during the MAGTF demonstration where F-35s and F-18s conduct a high-speed mock attack run while MV-22 Ospreys tiltrotors provide support! The power, speed, and coordination is incredible🇺🇸

This is one airshow the whole family loves. We can’t wait for the next one!

Coulson Aviation - Next Gen Firefighting CH-47D. Nothing beats the sound of a chinook up close! These firefighting legends can hold up to 3,000 gallons of water or retardant! They’re working hard keeping our skies and hills safe. Incredible to see up close!

Los Angeles County Fire Department Air Ops N822LA at Apollo Park. Great seeing a Sikorsky S-70A Firehawk up close. The wind was blowing so hard we were all being pelted by desert dust, but the pilots kept a solid hover and got the job done and stopped another brushfire. Great job!

LAFD Air Ops working a brush fire in Santa Clarita in 2024. We found the park they were using to fill up with water and fuel. Couldn’t believe we were able to get so close! Also it was the first time a helicopter caused problems my microphone.

Check out this incredible demonstration by the California Air National Guard at a past Pacific Airshow! Their C-130 Super Hercules, equipped with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS), demonstrates how they turn a C-130 into a powerful air tanker. They see a lot of action during California’s wildfire season!

From the 146th Airlift Wing, these dedicated Guard members train hard and respond fast when called upon by CAL FIRE and the U.S. Forest Service. Whether it’s wildfire season or public demonstrations like this, they represent the very best of service and readiness. Huge thanks to the California Air National Guard!

I really hope they bring these guys back for more shows!

and launches from NAS Fallon back when you could get on base to photograph US Navy aircraft. F-35s, F-16s, and F-18s all launching for the days missions. Not in the video are the E-2s, we’ll save that for another day. Exceptional experience with a lot of fun people!
