I started working out in 2022 with a goal of reaching 200lbs in bodyweight. My whole life I had always been the small guy in the room. I had always weighed anywhere from 150-180. I started the journey at 180 in September and by March of 2023 had hit my goal of 200. It took me 6 months 💪. Then I passed it and reached 205 a few months later.

So why do I still get up at 5 am if I hit my goal? I’ll tell you. It’s because I want to be the best dad I can be. I want to be able to keep up with my daughter, teach her how to hike up mountains, show her how to play sports, and so much more. The only way I’m going to do that is if I train my body and my mind. I knew that even two years before my daughter was even born. My end game is to be able to play with the grand kids someday. That won’t happen if I’m on the couch.

So I get up every day and leave it all on the table. Sleep, as much as you can with a baby who doesn’t sleep well, and do it again. Every. Single. Day.

If you want to get in the gym and need some extra push, reach out. I’d love to help you be a better version of yourself. I know the gym has transformed me into someone better.

Well, I’ve been a dad for a year now. I’m not sure where those 365 days went exactly but I do know I learned some things along the way.

If you’re a new dad, this is for you. I want to share what I’ve learned and maybe help guide you through that first year by sharing some knowledge and lessons learned.

1. I thought I knew patience. I didn’t. And I know this one gets tested more and more as we go along with new challenges. Hang in there and learn some ways to keep calm. This one took me a good bit of work.

2. My wife is literally a super hero. Besides all of the birth and pregnancy stuff even. My wife somehow just took like a fish to water with being a mom and I can’t get over how amazing it is. Some days I feel like an amateur parent compared to her 😂.

3. People don’t lie when they say the time flies. I feel like I blinked and got here. Be intentional about spending time with your little one. You can fix the biz or do the work later. They’re only small now. I did this and have no regrets.

4. I wanted to fix everything. I sometimes couldn’t fix anything 🤷🏻‍♂️. I had to accept that and it was pretty hard to do. You just want to be a superhero as dad 💪🏻.

I’m sure there’s a bunch I’m missing. But that’s a few things from this past year I really remember and had to work on.

Follow along to see where my journey goes!

I’m speaking THIS WEDNESDAY on how to create high-quality content and the fundamentals behind it.

referralpartnersplus (an organization I’m part of) is hosting the event and asked me to present an educational topic to attendees. Excited about it, this is the stuff I love to share with people!

Quick heads up on the topics I’ll be covering:

→ Photo and video basics. Basically how to film 101
→ Easy video frameworks that you can scale
→ A repeatable script framework for short-form video
→ Ways you can level up over time

If you want to come in person, drop a comment or DM me and I’ll send the registration link.

Can’t make it? No worries. I’m having the whole thing filmed and I’ll be sharing clips on my page in the weeks that follow. If you’ve been wanting to learn the basics, follow along and I’ll bring it to you for free.

Wish me luck 🤞

Looking for a local blue-collar business in Lancaster County, PA that wants professional content for their business.

If that’s you, or you know someone who fits, message me the word “MEDIA” and I’ll reach out.

Quick note on who this is for: builders, contractors, machine shops, fabricators, manufacturers, or any hands-on operation that’s been putting off content because it always ends up on next month’s list.

If that sounds familiar, let’s talk.

A home renovation ad and a personal injury ad have almost nothing in common, except that both work because they match how their prospect actually buys.

Three ads we ran for two very different clients:

Peachtree Builders, Inc. before/after ads. A $50K renovation is a long, visual, high-consideration decision. The ad shows the transformation, plants the vision, and asks for a low-commitment consultation.

John Wright Law Firm PLLC spokesperson direct-response. A personal injury case is urgent and emotional. The ad leads with the pain, establishes authority fast, and burns a memorable tagline + phone number into the screen. First month: 30+ calls at $29 each on under $1K in spend.

Same principle, two very different executions. Both formats match the buying behavior of the industry.

Most agencies run one ad style for every client. That's why so much ad spend gets wasted.

If you want ads built around how your customers actually buy, drop me a follow.

If you’re a blue-collar business doing $1M+ and you’re not running Meta ads, you’re leaving one of the best marketing opportunities in history on the table.

Marketers in the 50s, 60s, and 70s would have lost their minds at what we can do in 2026.

Back then, reaching the right person meant a mailer that took six weeks or a TV ad you couldn’t measure. Now you can put yourself in front of a specific type of buyer within 5 miles of your shop, every day, for the cost of lunch.

Here’s how it works for blue-collar businesses at your size:

You’ve already mastered the process for your customers. We document it. Then we use that footage in paid ads to generate more customers just like the ones you already serve.

Once it’s dialed in, it multiplies. Every ad teaches you something. Your cost per lead drops. The data compounds. Lead after lead. Dollar after dollar.

Why $1M+ specifically? Because at that revenue you already have the delivery capacity, the case studies, and the working systems. Ads pour fuel on a fire that’s already burning. They don’t build the fire from scratch.

If you want us to teach you how to do it, or run it for you, DM me and let’s talk.

What you say in your content matters so much more than how you film it.

Most people don’t realize this. They obsess over the camera, the lighting, the gear. Meanwhile a solid video script — or even a tight set of bullet points — is doing 80% of the work on every reel that actually performs.

Here’s the simple video script framework I use for short-form content. It gives you structure and lets you iterate on creative over time:

1️⃣ Hook — grab attention with one clear sentence stating what the video is about. First 3 seconds. No throat-clearing.

2️⃣ Problem Presentation — name the pain point and why it needs to be solved for your audience.

3️⃣ Problem Resolution — walk through how you solve it for clients, or how you personally solved it.

4️⃣ Tie It All Together — paint the picture of what solving the problem actually looks like. How does life change on the other side?

5️⃣ Action Step — always give your audience a next step. Follow, comment, DM. Pick one and be direct.

Every high-performing video I’ve made follows this.

Want the template plus an AI prompt you can use to enhance your own scripts? Comment SCRIPT and I’ll send it over 😉

Earlier this year I got in touch with SWAN 4 Kids to offer my services to help them create high quality impactful content to market their non-profit. Their organization helps students through music lessons, mental health counseling, and bible study. Three things that truly have impacted my life over the years.

It’s because of the connection I have to the way they help the community that I wanted to create something that mattered for them. They had been using cellphone videos captures from time to time of their students performing to market themselves and share their story. With their summer celebration coming up I offered to change that.

We created an impact video featuring several of the students and parents that have been helped by SWAN. They showed this during the event and I wanted to share what their founder said about how it helped.

Creating stories like this, that actually make a difference is why I started my business. It’s the best feeling in the world when something I create makes a real impact for someone or an organization.
