Join us for the 3rd annual ladies event featuring an all-level yoga flow, sound healing meditation, a micro photo shoot and boutique, exclusive shopping. An evening retreat, to delight the senses and connect to local women.

We have curated a beautiful evening for you and your girlfriends in a peaceful, secluded location. Expect to move your body with an invigorating and fun yoga flow with Katya Seymour , followed by a healing open air ( weather permitting ) meditation with crystal sounds and vibrations. You will then have a chance to capture the moment with a mini photo shoot courtesy of MI & Beyond - Wedding & Portrait Photographer and shop your heart out with exclusive boutique offerings by Judelia Style Boutique .

This is a networking opportunity, so don’t hesitate to bring business cards as you kick back, bliss out.

A glimpse into my time with Julia + Joe at University of Notre Dame for their engagement session! I’m so glad we could make this happen before their wedding in just a few short weeks. The campus is super special to both of them and their families.

We were originally supposed to meet on campus over the winter and there was a horrible snow storm so we had to postpone. It’s absolutely stunning ! So much fun getting a tour and wandering around photographing these two beauties. 🖤

My sweet little babies! I’m so obsessed with these two and their love. The purest. Their day was filled with the biggest smiles, the utmost joy, the largest bridal party ever and all the genuine emotion from beginning to end. Julia wanted a classic 90s vibe and I feel like we all nailed it. Think the classic portrait that hangs in the entrance hall Nazareth Hall . 🙌 So excited for your life together friends.

These best word to describe these two and their day is dreamy. It had a fairytale vibe to it. I admired how much they went with the flow with the impending call for rain the days prior. The energy was calm and peaceful. Even though they had to move the ceremony inside, they took in all in stride and were just happy to get married. The sky’s truly parted for them and it ended up being the most gorgeous day outside! Everyone partied the night away and it was just so much FUN.

I love a venue with history. This is a fave.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Grosse Pointe War Memorial started out as a lakeside mansion called The Moorings, built in the early 1900s for the Alger family. Russel Alger Jr co founded Packard Motor Car co. The mansion was not surprisingly one of the grand estates that defined Grosse Pointe at the time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After Russel Jrs untimely death in 1930 following an injury on a horse that left him paralyzed in 1921. His wife inherited the property but promptly left and donated it to the DIA. It was in there hands until they ran out of funding in 1948.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After World War II, the property took on a completely different purpose. His wife and the community wanted a place that would honor local residents who served in the war, especially those who never came home, while also creating something useful for future generations. In 1949, the Alger family donated the estate, and it officially became the Grosse Pointe War Memorial.

From the beginning, it was designed as a living community space — somewhere people could gather for concerts, classes, public events, and civic programs while still remembering the sacrifices of local veterans.
