A little rant from a rodeo photographer…

To all the rodeo committees using AI-generated rodeo posters and flyers: please remember there are photographers out there who spend countless hours on the road, in the arena, and behind a computer capturing real moments from your events.

We invest our time, money, and effort to document the sport we love while trying to make a living doing it. Many of us are more than willing to provide photos for promotional use, often at no charge, simply because we want to help promote rodeo and support the committees that keep it going.

Instead of using artificial images that don’t represent your event, consider supporting the photographers who are already there capturing the real thing.

Rodeo deserves real cowboys, real cowgirls, real stock, and real photographs.

Support the people who support your rodeos. That’s all. 🤘📸
