Every single nomination on my last post left me completely inspired by the work that’s happening in Cleveland! So many wonderful businesses and non profits out there. For me, shooting content comes full circle when I can photograph the people behind something. Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve stopped to introduce myself, so here we go! The professional field of photography is something I have enjoyed and been a part of for the last ten years. My husband and I run and have loved meeting people and working together both in Chicago and Cleveland. A year and half ago we moved to Cleveland and as we transitioned here I found myself drawn to the entrepreneurial spirit here...yes, the beautiful products and services but more holistically the people and stories behind a company or organization. I love thinking through light, composure and working with people to get honest and meaningful expression. We often run in our own lanes, doing our own thing but as I weave in and out of businesses and organizations I’m reminded we are a part of a bigger collective story...and I think our individual stories have place in each others lives. anyway!! A part from taking photos I have three beautiful children that keep me busy and give me so much joy and life. (Swipe to see my everyday normal!) My husband is not just a support but fuels what I am passionate about by taking care of a lot of logistics and caring for our kids when I have a shoot. I’m also incredibly inspired by the work he does and we do our best to encourage each others goals. If I’m not taking pictures or with my family, you might find me on a long run to the lake, mulling over a good recipe in my kitchen or enjoying quality time with people I love. I’m inspired by cities and culture and heartbroken by the issues that often coincide. That said, it has been a GIFT to work alongside you this year and I’m so excited for 2020. I hope we meet!!
