I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the sweetest birthday boy today. On a 35 degree and very windy day, he didn't complain once! And he smiled for every picture. He just snuggled in a blanket between poses and then kept being his happy self. If you want portraits of your little super kid, don't be deterred by the fact that the weather is changing. A cold and windy day can make for some beautiful cozy pictures!

The best thing about taking family portraits is watching all of the chaotic parts of parenting magically disappearing outside of the frame of the camera. Parenting is hard, but when you capture smiles like these, for a moment the hard stuff can just melt away.
And what is left behind? Pure love and joy. I had so much fun with this lovely family, watching this adorable little big brother play, and remembering how much joy and energy 2 year olds have!

Photo sessions can be scheduled in your yard or at parks throughout Denver, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, etc.
