A gentle reminder for parents booking sessions: not every photo has to include your child’s face to tell a story.

I completely respect families who choose to keep their children’s identities private on social media while still wanting to capture meaningful moments and memories. Tiny hands, little feet, silhouettes, back-of-head shots, cuddles, details, movement — there are so many creative ways to preserve your family’s story while respecting your comfort and boundaries.

Their wedding at Himelright Lodge was so low-key and beautiful — complete with the dreamiest moody, cloudy backdrop 🖤🌥

Despite the rain gods changing their minds all morning and causing a last-minute ceremony location change, somehow the entire day still felt effortless. Honestly, sometimes those unexpected moments make a wedding even more memorable.

And as if the day couldn’t get any better, they took me up on my recommendation and had tacos catered by (which was honestly such a vibe 🌮!) Every part of their wedding felt relaxed, intentional, and completely true to them. No stress, no over-the-top timeline — just two people who fell in love over concert tickets, celebrating with all of their favorite people.

Where are all my 420 couples at 😮‍💨💨

Honestly… what better way to photograph your engagement than by leaning into what you actually love— how you bond, how you spend your time, how you just are together.

This session was everything. They invited me into their home, and we spent the evening just hanging out— gabbing about their families, their love story, and all the little things they’re most excited for on their big day.

And that’s the magic right there 💚
When you let go, relax, and fully be yourselves— with me and with each other— that’s when the real, honest moments happen.

Not every session needs a dreamy field or some extravagant location. Sometimes the most meaningful place is right at home… where your love already lives.

We wrapped things up the best way— a celebratory engagement t**e 🍃💨 a big hug, and just like that… new friends for life!
