Happy Mother’s Day! See an extra little one? Yep! That’s our sweet miracle baby! I’m sharing the testimony below to encourage you!
We always said we would love to have 3 or 4 kids. Last year, when my husband was life threatening sick again, they put him in an overflow hospital room. It just so happened to be in maternity. Looking at the baby bassinet, I laughed and said, “What if this is our sign you are going to be healed and we will have another baby?” Well, he was set to discharge that day and when I left to get the car, I heard this part of the song… “Another one is on the way.” Well, I know the Holy Spirt whispered to me in a sweet and humorous way- “Get it Angela? Another one IS on the way.” I knew it and told God I believed him. I picked up Patrick and I went home. The only test I had was expired. It actually expired that day. It was positive, but super faint because it was very early. I felt prompted to save the box and test as a reminder that what Doctors say is expired, can still have miracles. I had thought I was pregnant months before, but found out it was perimenopause. It was a bit of a shock, but it made sense. Flash forward a few days after his discharge and I took one of the tests that clearly said “pregnant.” Our sweet girl is a precious reminder of God’s faithfulness. Just one week after finding out I was pregnant, my Granny who was like a mom to me went to be with Jesus. We named our daughter Lily as my Granny was an avid gardener and when I sang her into heaven, I sang “In the Garden to her.” This last year has been so hard and so filled with beautiful in the pain. If you are a mom wanting more kids and the doctors say it’s not likely, or maybe you desire to have kids and are not with children yet, Please know there is nothing God cannot do. Also, age is just a number. I gave birth a few months shy of 41. Happy Mother’s Day!! 🌺 💐
