Honestly, I can’t think of a better excuse to have your wedding dress altered, throw a party, and retake your wedding photos than your 10-year anniversary! What a fun and meaningful way to celebrate all the years, memories, and adventures that brought them here. These are the kinds of photos that only become more valuable with time. 🤍

Now that I finally have branding photos, I guess it’s time to reintroduce the girl behind the camera…

Hey, I’m Shelby — the face behind Shelby Monio Photography 📸

And before you tell me you’re awkward in front of the camera… trust me, same. There’s a reason I’m usually hiding behind a lens instead of standing in front of one. I know how uncomfortable photos can feel, which is exactly why I do everything I can to make your session feel relaxed, fun, and natural — with minimal awkward hand placement and plenty of prompts that make you forget you’re even being photographed.

When I’m not taking photos, I’m usually outside somewhere with my fiancé Brock — either working with our horses and cattle, out hunting and training our dogs, or at the race track supporting my other half. Honestly, if it involves animals or a little bit of chaos, I’m probably having a great time. 🫶🏻

And on the complete opposite end of the spectrum… you can also find me ignoring responsibilities because I get emotionally attached to fictional characters in a romance book. Balance, right? 📖

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the western lifestyle and the kind of memories that deserve to be captured — whether that’s golden hour in a pasture or just documenting the little moments you never want to forget.

And just so everyone knows… I may be willing to accept payment in the form of hay bales, cowhides, or turquoise jewelry. (Only partially kidding.) 😉

Ok ok ok. I won’t gate keep the calves any longer!

We had a pretty little whitepark highland calf born over this past weekend; Dottie! Who is wanting to do some calf mini sessions with this little cutie? 🐮📸

$250 for 15 minutes of interaction and pictures with calf. Session comes with 10 images. Additional images are available to purchase for $10 each.

A friendly reminder that calves and cattle - We cannot guarantee their reactions or interactions with you during the session. Our cattle are friendly and well handled, but you must be comfortable with animals and understand how to act/interaction with them. That being said, their comfortably and safety is my number one priority so I would love to chat with everyone who may be interested to make sure this session is the right fit 🫶🏻
