One of my favorite things to do every year is photograph the military aircraft out at Sun ’n Fun in Lakeland✈️

I love seeing both the newest planes and the old classics, but nothing compares to the raw power and ground-shaking sound of the Thunderbirds. It really gets your heart pumping when they come ripping overhead.

I’ve got a lot of respect for the men and women in the Thunderbirds program—it takes serious dedication and hard work to perform at that level.

This shot is from the 2022 show, but I’m looking forward to seeing them again this weekend.

Florida Everglades Egret

Got out before sunrise in the Everglades one morning and was walking through a cypress head when I came across this great egret perched up in a young tree.

It was pretty skittish, so I just slowed down and stayed patient. After a few minutes, it settled just enough for me to get a few shots.

I’ve always loved the quiet, almost surreal feel of mornings out there—everything is damp, still, and just waking up. Hope you enjoy!

Quiet moment before the next move.

I never get tired of watching these birds. The detail in a tricolored heron—especially up close—is just incredible. Every feather has a purpose.

Definitely one of those shots that makes you slow down and appreciate what you’re looking at.

🚀 Excited to share that I’m officially a DroneDeploy Certified Pilot! ✅

Over the past few months, I’ve also earned four additional DroneDeploy certifications:

Agricultural Analyst
Solar Analyst
Fundamentals Certified
Ground Capture Certified

These certifications have strengthened my skills in drone mapping, data analysis, and aerial solutions, and I’m looking forward to applying this knowledge to streamline workflows, improve site surveys, and deliver even more value to projects.
