Even though we’re from Chicago and should be used to the snow, I’m glad it’s melting away 😂 but I couldn’t stop myself capturing this special time in the south!

Even though we decided to move away from the snow, Hailey LOVE it! So I’m glad she got to experience some Chicago weather 😄

It’s definitely easier to stay warm when you can actually fit in your winter coat and don’t need your husband to take off your boots cause you can’t reach. But not much longer and we’ll be welcoming our sweet baby girl ♥️ and I’ll fit into my jacket again..

🤍 SNEAK PEEK 🤍

A quiet morning, soft light, Taylor Swift playing in the background, and a sweet baby boy who stayed calm for most of the session 🤍
Mom and Dad even said the dogs were unusually relaxed — and honestly, that’s exactly how I want my newborn sessions to feel.

The listening to your favorite music, sipping your coffee, slow and cozy kind of morning. Especially during a season where mom deserves to feel comfortable, supported, and rested.

This session filled my heart in a deeper way, knowing that very soon it will be our turn to welcome a new baby into our home. I’m soaking in these last days of nesting and dreaming about the cozy, resting days ahead.

This will be my last sneak peek for a little while 🤍 After this gallery is delivered, I’ll officially be stepping into maternity leave — and I couldn’t be more grateful to end this season with a session like this.

🥹 Last Thanksgiving as a family of 3 🥹

Baby girl #2 will be joining us in March 2026 🩷

You have no idea how often I’ve said thank you to God this pregnancy. Even through trials, he’s been protecting and providing everything we need! 🙏🏻

Watching Hailey’s excitement for her baby sister has been one of the cutest things 🫠! She’s been practicing her big sister role by taking care of her baby doll (yes, her baby doll needs her own stuffed animals to cuddle while they take naps 🥹😄) and she’s been taking great care of mommy, telling me to lay down to put baby clothes on my belly 😄.

The Lord is my shepherd, I have all that I need ♥️

of my very last fall session for this year!!

As I wrap up this season, my heart feels so full. I’m endlessly thankful for every incredible momma who stepped in front of my lens these past few months. This fall was a whirlwind—busy editing days, golden leaves that seemed to glow just for us, so much laughter during sessions, and yes… a little chaos mixed in, too.

But oh, the memories we made together. 🍂

🤍 SNEAK PEEK 🤍

Life feels so full lately — full of toddler giggles and dance parties, snack requests, toy tornadoes, and debates over which book to read before nap time 😅 Add in editing marathons during nap windows, and it’s safe to say my hands (and my heart) are completely full.

That’s why this session hit home for me — a beautiful, real morning where another mama was juggling the same thing: a newborn in her arms, a toddler at her feet, and love overflowing everywhere in between. It might have felt a little chaotic in the moment, but these are the memories that matter most — the ones no one can ever take away. 💛

🤍 SNEAK PEEK 🤍

One of my favorite things about newborn photography is how beautifully it flows around you and your baby’s needs. 💕

If that means we pause for a few diaper changes, feeding breaks, or a snack for momma — that’s exactly what we’ll do. There’s no rush, no schedule to keep, just gentle moments as they happen.

I still remember those early days of having a newborn — getting out of the house felt like climbing a mountain. Half the time, I was late anyway (because what is time when you have a newborn, right!? 😅).

That’s why I love in-home sessions so much. You get to stay in your cozy space, surrounded by your own comforts, moving at your baby’s pace. During those tender recovery weeks, it’s a gift to simply be — to soak in the snuggles, the little yawns, the love that fills your home.

And that’s just one of my favorite parts of this job.

Who else agrees that home really is the most special place for newborn photos? 🕊️

❕SNEAK PEEK ❕

Sneak peek from yesterday’s session with 3 little ones all under 5 — yes, it was chaotic at times and yes, there were some tears, but oh… just look at what came out of it. 🥹

Mommas, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to show up to a session worried your kids won’t “cooperate.” But here’s the truth I’ve seen time and time again: the less we try to control our kids during the shoot, the better the experience is — for them and for you.

Real connection doesn’t live in perfect smiles or still poses. It lives in the in-between — the cuddles, the giggles, the wild little moments that are so them.

So take a deep breath. Let them be. I’ve got you — and the magic is already happening. ✨

🍂🍁 FALL MINIS ARE FINALLY HERE 🍁🍂

Anyone as excited as I am about this years fall minis?! 😍🙌🏻

Every year, this season reminds me how quickly everything changes — the colors, the air, the rhythm of our days. And lately, I’ve been feeling that even more deeply in my own life.

Watching my own daughter grow these past years has been a whirlwind. One minute she’s tiny in my arms, and the next she’s running ahead of me, full of curiosity and independence. I catch glimpses of her baby face fading, replaced with someone new — still her, but growing and changing right before my eyes. And it hits me... this season of motherhood, of family life, it’s so breathtakingly beautiful and heartbreakingly fast.

That’s why I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to open up Fall Mini Session sign-ups. These sessions are about holding onto right now — the snuggles, the giggles, the way your littles look at you, the way you all fit together in this exact chapter.

And as a thank you to all the mommas who have trusted me in the past, I want to give you a 24 hour sign up advantage,so you can pick the best spots before they’re gone.

✨ VIP sign ups will open SATURDAY AUGUST 30TH at 2pm. The sign up link will be sent out by request, so let me know if you want in early!

Thank you to the fathers in our house who lead us with love, serve with humility and reflect the heart of our Heavenly Father.

And thank you God for being our ultimate father! For the best example and role model there is!

Speaking of serving with humility, my husband has to work on Father’s Day to provide for our family, so we’re celebrating Father’s Day all weekend 🤷‍♀️
