I made my first ever āhomemadeā chocolate chip cookies today! Here are a few things I learned:
1.) cookie dough is so much sticker than I imagined it would be
2.) Donāt try to roll the cookie dough in your handsā it will NOT work out well for you or the dough
3.) if you leave the edges of the parchment paper off the side of your cookie sheet, your apartment WILL fill with smoke, and you will get in an accidental workout trying to fan away the thick smoke from your smoke alarm
4.) if you accidentally put too much flour in, you deem said cookies chocolate scones š¤£! Which is what we are doing bc whoops LOL.
Quarantine has been a decent time for me thus far. Yes, I miss my friends, and I miss going out of my house and the freedom to do whatever, but Iām thankful for the time to reflect, refresh, learn, grow, work hard, and spend time with Matt and getting to know him more. Flirting with your husband often actually looks like doing dishes just in case any of you single ladies were wondering, LOL. I am also thankfuk for the hours, days, weeks, I have invested over the years learning how to be alone with myself before this. It wasnāt easy, and it was honestly horrible some days; I was often on the verge of panic attacks or emotional breakdowns, but I am thankful. Maybe thatās how youāre feeling in this time, and Iām so sorry if youāre feeling lonely and scared and trapped. I completely understand how that feels, and I am here if you want to chat. I promise that brighter days are coming, that this will end, and you will come out of this a better, stronger version of yourself if you so choose to dig in during this time. Love you all dearly, and Iām here if you want. Iām going to go put my āsconesā away now good night 𤣠@ West Palm Beach, Florida
