📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ALL RED’S PHOTOGRAPHY CLIENTS! 📸
I hate that I even have to make a post like this, but unfortunately, no call, no shows have become an issue, and some changes need to be made moving forward.
As a small business owner, a photographer, a full time working mom, and someone who has a family of my own, my time is valuable, just like yours. When you book a session, I set that time aside specifically for you. I plan my setups, prepare for your session, and sometimes turn away other clients because that time slot has already been reserved.
When someone doesn’t show up and doesn’t even have the courtesy to send a message, that is not only a lost opportunity for another client who would have loved that spot, but it is also time I could have spent with my own children and family. ❤️
PLEASE NOTE: These new policies will apply to all future mini session bookings moving forward. If you have already booked a mini session with me, your booking will remain under the original policies that were in place at the time you booked. These changes will only apply to new bookings made from this point forward.
So, effective immediately, the following policies will apply to ALL mini sessions:
$50 non-refundable retainer: All mini sessions will now require a $50 non-refundable retainer to book. My previous retainer was $25, but due to repeated no call, no shows, this amount is changing.
Retainers are no longer transferable: Retainers cannot be transferred to another date, or session. Please make sure you are able to attend before booking.
Session confirmation is REQUIRED: If you do not confirm your session when asked, your time slot will automatically be canceled so that the spot can be offered to another client.
No call, no shows will not be tolerated: I completely understand that emergencies happen. Life happens, children get sick, and unexpected situations come up. I will ALWAYS understand that things happen, and I am willing to work with clients who communicate with me. ❤️
However, there is a difference between an emergency and simply not showing up, ignoring messages, or leaving me on read without a response.
A no show list will be maintained: Anyone who no call, no shows their session without communication will be added to my no show list and will no longer be permitted to book future sessions with Red’s Photography.
Please understand that these changes are not meant to punish anyone. They are being put in place to protect my small business, my time, and my family. I put so much time, effort, money, and love into every session I offer, and I want to continue providing beautiful memories for the clients who value and respect what I do.
I appreciate every single person who supports my business, books with me, shows up for their sessions, communicates with me, and continues to trust me with their memories. You are the reason I love doing what I do, and I am so thankful for you! 🫶🏼
Please be respectful of my time, just as I respect yours. Behind this business is a mom who is working hard to make this dream happen while balancing work and family, and I appreciate your understanding as these policies take effect.
