PCT Days 2025 🌲✨

What a weekend! Always such a blast seeing hikers, friends, and trail family come together in Cascade Locks. 🙌

Loved all the vendors this year—both returning favorites and exciting new startups (even some from Japan!). The energy and community spirit made it extra special.

Two weeks later and another awesome crew of Habitat for Humanity Portland Region volunteers is hard at work turning these frames into finished homes! Walls are going up, shots are getting tighter, and I can’t wait to see these brand-new places ready to welcome their new owners. And this is happening right here in my community of Lake Oswego!

💛 Class of 2025 — What a Year 💛

This year’s group of seniors really blew me away. Most of them showed up a little unsure, maybe even a bit awkward (who isn’t when a camera’s involved?), but by the end — wow. They came out of their shells, and it was so cool to witness.

Emily and Sofi were both just glowing among the wildflowers — soft, natural, and effortlessly beautiful. Lily and her mom had me laughing the whole time — their energy was so fun and full of love. Ben and Daniel weren’t totally sure what to do at first, but they eased into it and totally rocked it.

Ella looked like she was rehearsing for her next theater role — expressive and bold, in the best way. Hudson’s mom teared up seeing him in his natural element — relaxed and confident. Keagen leaned into his adventurous, mountain-loving side and totally owned it.

Linda wanted that Eastern Oregon feel, so we drove over two hours to find it — and it was worth every mile. Ruby and her mom (my adventure buddy!) made the whole shoot feel like a little getaway — all smiles and laughter from start to finish.

And then, after finishing up at the Habitat build, I headed straight to my playground—Mt. Hood—where I got to document another beautiful giving event with the Friends of Tilly Jane Cabins.
More amazing people, more hard work, more love for the places we call home.

Lately I’ve really been enjoying photographing people doing good things.

These were taken at a Habitat for Humanity build in Lake Oswego. It was 95 degrees, and the volunteers still showed up ready to work and give back.

It was hot, sweaty, and honestly kind of amazing to witness. Grateful I got to be there and capture a little bit of it.

I refer to these sessions as 'freestyle' because it's all about capturing the essence of parenthood in a genuine way. Whatever the official term may be (it’s actually lifestyle), the outcome is what truly matters.

Sunday Funday at . The lifts were spinning just for us, and we were treated to yummy food and drinks, and awesome raffle prizes. Some lucky winners scored big 🙋🏻‍♀️. MHM just know how to appreciate their employees. I’m already counting days until next season! ❄️ 🎿 🏔️
