My memory, unlike my wife who has an amazingly detailed memory, is selective and spotty. As a result, throughout the years I have depended on pictures to remind me not only of places and people, but perhaps more importantly of those impressions and feelings. Indeed, seeing a picture caught at the right time engages more than our sight. It engages the sense of smell and awakens feelings that we had
left behind, bringing the pictures to life and feeling as though it was yesterday. Photography turned into a passion when a certain special event occurred that has since changed my life! The day I found out we were going to have a child. I did not want to forget or miss anything. So I started researching, learning, practicing in preparation and eager expectation. The rest is history! To see and hear about the joy in the parents and the excitement in the clients when they view the photos is what I strive for and am passionate about. I love learning about them and tailoring our sessions to their needs or character. I love capturing the goofiness, the love, and the connection in those moments and I hope I may do the same for you!
