Upper Left Arts Photography A local based Photographer in Woodland Hills My name is Neil... I am a husband, dad to two little gals (Natalie 6 and Liberty 4), 3 dogs and 1 naked cat.

Cameras and photography have been a passion of mine for years; however it took off in a significant way once I had my kids. I wanted to capture each and every moment of their lives (from the belly and on...). I focus on natural light and lifestyle photography, trying to seek out the most natural interactions that I can find. When you shoot with kids and pets you never know what you will get... so

I use patience and a fun demeanor (that I have had to perfect as a stay at home dad) to ensure that everyone feels relaxed and we get great images. So what is Lifestyle photography exactly? Lifestyle photography lies somewhere in between documentary photography and classic portrait photography. I try to catch life as it is without trying to interfere with what is going on. I attempt to tell a story of real life, as it happens, while trying to be as transparent as possible for my subjects.
