I had the privilege of photographing twins Rylee and Emily as they competed in their very first horse show aboard the incredible 8-year-old Lena. From the quiet moments before entering the arena to the determination in every turn around the barrels, it was such a joy to capture the confidence, bond, and love they share with their horse.
There is something special about a first horse show on a new horse the nerves, the excitement, the dusty arena, and memories that will be treasured for years to come. These girls rode with heart and determination!
