We are first, and foremost, a family. We've been happily married since 2008. We are the proud parents of two little boys- Oliver and Landon and a beautiful little girl- Evelynn. We have a large mutt-dog named Kahlo and live in the beautiful land of Lake Orion, MI. Dave's an art teacher by day daddy/photographer extraordinaire by night. s. We love to play together as a family. We enjoy photography (duh), biking, hiking, swimming, eating, playing at the beach, creating, imagining, and so much more. Fun fact=Dave and Emily are international ice carving champions! We met in 2004 in a Ceramics class at EMU. Emily broke Dave's pot...and Dave forgave her (eventually) and gave her a ring in 2007. In 2008, we decided to put our fine art degrees to good use and open Yellow Tree Photography. Since then, we've shot over 100 weddings and countless engagement, family, newborn, senior, and other types of random sessions. Working together allows us to be creative together.
