🐚 Collecting stories between the tides Hi there!

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved looking at photos. It was a way that I could travel back in time to moments that have since passed. There’s just something so nostalgic about flipping through an old photo album looking at moments that happened years ago. It’s as if for a brief moment you become a time traveler, imagining yourself there. A little about me. Born and raised in New Jersey, I in

vested in my first camera as a teenager and haven’t looked back since. Through the years my passion for creativity has taken me on an amazing journey as a digital marketing professional with an art for storytelling as both a writer and a photographer. But enough about me... I am so happy you are here and would love to get to know you! Send me a message if you have a current or future photography need.

Perspective changes everything.

There’s something about seeing a familiar skyline. The noise fades. The details sharpen. You remember why you fell in love with the view in the first place.

📍 Across the Hudson

If you had to pick one, what would it be? City skyline or ocean view.

Postcards from the Carolinas | Vol. 3 – Horizon Lines 🌊

The last postcard wandered beneath the pier.

This one looked up.

The ocean has a way of making everything feel bigger. The sky stretches a little farther, the waves breathe a little slower, and even the reflections in the sand seem to tell their own story.

It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back to coastal photography. Every shoreline is different, even when it looks familiar. Sometimes the magic isn’t in a dramatic sunset or crashing surf. Sometimes it’s simply the way light dances across the water before the next wave quietly erases it.

Postcards from the Carolinas | Vol. 2 – Salt + Symmetry 🌊

The last postcard admired the pier.

This one wandered underneath it.

Beneath the crashing waves and footsteps overhead is a world of repeating lines, weathered wood, and quiet symmetry. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most interesting perspective isn’t the obvious one. It’s the one just a few steps away.

One of my favorite parts of coastal photography is slowing down long enough to notice the details most people pass by. Looking beneath the surface, quite literally, often reveals an entirely different story.

Postcards from the Carolinas | Vol. 1
Beneath the Pier 🌊

Sometimes the best view isn’t standing on the pier. It’s looking up from beneath it.

There’s something about weathered wood, rolling waves, and the rhythm of the ocean that reminds you not everything has to be polished to be beautiful. Some places don’t ask you to do anything except pause.

This quiet morning along the Carolina coast was one of those moments.

Spring at Grounds for Sculpture always feels a little cinematic.

I couldn’t resist photographing the delicate white and violet cornflower tucked into the grass. Lately, I’ve been drawn to quiet moments in nature photography like this. The soft greens, shallow depth of field, and tiny details made this feel like a hidden world inside the garden.

Spring, but more afternoons exploring Grounds for Sculpture, please.

What is the smallest detail you have noticed lately that made you stop for a second?
