One of our favorite things of being wedding photographers is how we get to be secret onlookers to moments that might not have any one else around, like the first look. Getting to witness firsthand the genuine reactions, excitement & tears between couples.
When Zach turned around he was truly blown away seeing Brooke. It was a pure beautiful exchange of excitement between them & we got the honor to preserve that memory for them for a lifetime

We haven’t done a little introduction in awhile ✨
Hey we are Klaus and Em, a photo & film husband and wife duo who love a good love story, street tacos & adventuring around whether with our clients or our little family.
together we have been running Klaus James photography for the last 6 years & what a fun ride it has and continues to be.
when we aren’t documenting your memories we love to travel, play board games & have nerf gun wars with our kids. Emily also doubles as an LMT & I (Klaus) teach Ashtanga yoga!
We love capturing your memories & that means whatever your day might look like. We photograph and film in a very hands off manner. We like to let your day & moments flow naturally while we get it all. We want you to enjoy your day & be present.

It’s always an honor to be welcomed into a space to witness the sacred rituals of another cultures wedding traditions. I am always truly in awe every time we get to experience it.
Sarina and Chris’s ceremony was held in the Gurudwara, a space grounded in devotion and community.
Sarina’s red attire symbolizes strength, prosperity and new beginnings as her and Chris embarked on their next grand adventure, marriage ❤️
During the ceremony the couple walks multiple rounds, marking their spiritual journey together.
The best part was after the ceremony the day ended with a Langar. One large shared community meal where all guests sit together and are served the same food honoring the Sikh value of oneness.
We are always grateful to observe, learn and document all and any special days
