Hi I'm Carly Lois! A lifestyle photographer based out of southeastern Wisconsin. I grew up on my grandparent's family farm and I love to capture the action.

I have since ventured off and now enjoy taking pictures of all of life's special moments. I have always been fascinated with photography and it quickly turned from a hobby into a passion. I tend to take clear, vibrant, and crisp photos, but I am willing to work with you to make your pictures exactly how you want them. My goal is to take photos that you will want to keep up on your walls for ages.

Hey everyone, I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, so I figured it was time for a life update! I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Accounting and Finance.

This summer will be spent studying for and taking my CPA exams, while also capturing so many amazing sessions along the way. As a reminder, I am fully booked for the summer, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the support. I’m so excited to work with all of my incredible clients over the next few months!

this sweet family chose their session to be at a beach where they love to visit. it was so sweet to see one of their favorite locations that is special to them as a family. capturing memories that are meaningful to preserve memories of this period of time is so special.

Missing him a little bit extra today. For those who don’t know, Grandpa and I shared a birthday. We would always talk and laugh back-and-forth as we wished each other happy birthday. I always joked with him that my birthday was the one out of all of his grandkids that he couldn’t forget because it was the exact same day as his. It was always so fun to share this day with Grandpa, shared cakes, parties and celebrations, I just never imagined a day I would have to do this without him.

Grandpa had this tradition that on your 21st birthday you would get to do a shot with him, mint Dr. McGillicuddy’s, of course. I’m glad I got to do one last shot with Grandpa on my 21st last year, so I’ll be doing one today in honor of him.

Losing him the way we did was never something I expected and while it still doesn’t make sense, the Lord has a greater plan. He was doing what he loved, what he dedicated his life to, right up until the very end and he wouldn’t have had it any other way.

My heart hurts a little bit more today as it has every day since we lost him. Capturing these pictures of his one last ride past his beloved farm is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do with the camera in my hand, but it’s memories like these that I’m grateful I have to look back on on today when I’m missing him a little bit extra. I love you, Grandpa. I hope you have your shot glass ready in heaven. Cheers!

the best family photos aren’t perfectly posed, they’re perfectly real. the laughs, the wiggles, the personalities that make your family yours. one day these little moments won’t feel so little. that’s why photos like these matter because the messy, giggly, wild moments are the ones you’ll miss someday. 🤍

family photos with little boys = running, laughing, and zero chance of standing still… and honestly, that’s the best part. spending my summer nights taking pics for this fun family is always my favorite! these sweet boys have me running, laughing and entertained while I’m taking their pics and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
