I’m writing to share some news that is both bittersweet and exciting. I will be taking a temporary step back from 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 for the remainder of 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, beginning August 1st, to pursue our families newest dream: opening !

To say I will miss our sessions this fall is an understatement. The trust you've shown me—inviting me to capture your joy, your chaos, and your growth—has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You are more than clients; you are friends, and you have made this journey what it is.

While my camera may be resting for this season, please know how much your support has meant to me. Thank you for everything. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲. I plan to re-evaluate my availability and reopen bookings for 2026 and of course will be in touch.

✨Why I Picked Up a Camera✨
Photography started as something personal—a way to capture better moments for me and my family. What I didn’t expect was how it would grow into something far bigger.

Each session, each snap of the shutter, every new challenge—they’ve taught me to embrace the unknown and trust my craft. For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures. It’s about preserving those fleeting, once-in-a-lifetime moments we hold dear.

Weddings? Now that’s a unique niche—special, beautiful, and honestly nerve-wracking at all times. Capturing those irreplaceable seconds when emotions run high and love fills the room? That’s no small feat, and I don’t take it lightly.

When a dear friend asked me to photograph his wedding, every doubt and nerve hit me head-on. Was I the right person for such a big day? Could I deliver what they deserved? Despite the second-guessing, I couldn’t say no. I felt like a member of their family, being asked and being present, and was deeply honored to be trusted with such an important role.

So, I took the challenge head-on, pushing myself to capture moments that will last them a lifetime.

Capturing families year after year is one of the greatest joys of what I do, and the Hugill family’s session in Lake Bluff was nothing short of magical! The golden sunlight filtering through the vibrant fall leaves created the perfect backdrop for their warmth and laughter.

We started at the iconic gazebo, where their smiles lit up every frame. It’s always an honor to document these moments and create lasting memories with such wonderful families!

Throwback to this incredible family session! With the urban appeal as our backdrop, Lake Forest truly is the perfect suburban town to capture unforgettable moments. 🌿🏙️

We were enchanted by the charming archways, the beautiful fall decor lining the streets, and of course, those stunning sunset golden hues that made every shot magical. 🍁✨

It was such a pleasure capturing the Cicero family in their beautiful new home! We took some quick shots, and it was heartwarming to have the grandparents as part of the session. The greenery of their yard and the golden hues of the sunset made for some absolutely stunning captures.

Throwback to the fantastic Spirito family session at the ponds! On a whim, we decided to try out this new location, and it did not disappoint. We drove over, walked to a spot that felt fresh and new, and within minutes—boom, magic happened.

It’s moments like these that make spontaneous adventures so rewarding. The Spirito family brought their incredible energy and made capturing their connection an absolute joy.

Throwback to the wonderful family session at Lake Forest Beach. Sometimes, Mother Nature has other plans, and our first attempt got washed out. But we didn’t give up! We reconnected on a perfect evening, filled with golden light and laughter.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—capturing pure, genuine joy and turning them into memories that will last a lifetime. The Bartolottas were an absolute joy to work with, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to create these beautiful images for them.
