Our family has been getting raw milk from Straight Up Outside for over a year now. To say that it's the best milk I've ever tasted would be an understatement. I don't find it coincidental that we have hardly been sick in the last year, either. Raw, unpasteurized A2 milk is a powerhouse, and if you can find a way to get your hands on it, I would highly recommend doing so!
What Nick and Annie have going on out at their little farm is truly special. It’s something I have sensed ever since I first set foot on their property, and it struck me recently that this thing they do every single day - the ordinary, intimate details that make up life on their farm - deserve to be preserved. When inspiration hits, sometimes we just need to let it take hold and see where it takes us.
After talking with Annie about my idea, she and Nick agreed to let me come take some photos, and I am SO glad they did! The evening I brought my camera out was absolutely gorgeous. I was given a tour of their farm, got the opportunity to know their family better, and snapped many precious moments along the way. I think this will be one of my favorite photoshoots for years and years to come.
