ANNOUNCEMENT: Food Truck Festival Update

After very careful consideration, we’ve decided not to move forward with The Grub and Grind Food Truck Festival that was originally being planned for June 14th at this point in time.

While we were extremely excited about the idea of bringing something fun and flavorful to town, organizing an event of this size comes with a number of behind-the-scenes hurdles — from vendor permitting to city approvals and more — that we were simply not prepared for. At this time, we are not in a position to take it on in a way that meets everyone’s expectations and local requirements.

We understand there’s been a lot of feedback regarding this event and we want to thank those who reached out, shared concerns, and helped us see the full picture, especially when it comes to permitting and approvals.

This IS NOT a failure — IT IS a learning curve and while this particular event isn’t moving forward at this time, we’re still extremely committed to supporting local in ways that are thoughtful, doable, and impactful.

Thank you very much for your continued support — we’re still dreaming and always grateful to be part of this community.
