Unpopular opinion: I actually prefer when my couples don’t know how to pose. 🙈

I know that probably sounds backwards, but hear me out…

Almost every couple tells me they’re “awkward” or that they don’t know what to do in front of the camera. And every single time, I tell them the same thing:

“No worries at all. That’s what I’m here for.”

You don’t have to worry about where your hands go, which way to look, or if you’re doing it “right.” I’ll guide you through the entire session with simple prompts that feel natural, not stiff or overly posed.

Because the truth is, the best photos aren’t created by knowing a bunch of poses.

They’re created when you relax, have fun together, and simply get to be yourselves.

Some of my favorite images are the little in-between moments…the genuine laughter after a bad joke, the forehead kisses, and the way you naturally look at each other when you forget the camera is even there.

So if you’ve been putting off booking because you’re worried you won’t know how to pose, let this be your reminder:

You don’t have to. Just show up as yourselves. I’ll take care of the rest. 💌

P.S. If your fiancé is already saying, “I’m going to be so awkward,” send this to them. I promise they’re not the first. 😉
