I don’t want to photograph the “perfect” version of your family.
I want to photograph your family.
The people you love most in this world. The little hands that won’t always be little. The toddler who would rather be anywhere but in front of my camera. The baby who needs to be held. The way your husband looks at you when you aren’t paying attention.
I don’t mind the imperfections.
Actually, I think they’re the whole point.
If your toddler is sad during our session, that’s okay. Love on them. If your kids run away from me, we’ll follow them. If there are toys scattered across your living room, leave them there.
One day, those toys won’t be there.
One day, your house will be quieter. Your baby will be bigger. Your toddler won’t need to be carried. And you might find yourself wishing you could step back into this exact season for just a minute.
That’s what I want to give you.
Not a collection of perfectly posed pictures where everyone is smiling at the camera.
I want the real stuff. The belly laughs. The cuddles. The chaos. The quiet moments. The tiny details you don’t realize you’ll miss until they’re gone.
And honestly, I’ll tell you something else:
I don’t have decades of camera knowledge under my belt. I’m not interested in pretending that I do. I’m still learning, growing, and figuring things out every day.
But I do have a genuine passion for families.
I care deeply about creating photographs that feel like you and that you’ll still want to hold onto decades from now.
Because I don’t think photographs need to be perfect to be beautiful.
I think they just need to be real.
If this sounds like the kind of photography you’ve been looking for, reach out. I’d love to hear about your family, your season of life, and dream up a session that feels like you. 🤍
