This bathroom is very starkly colored on the outside, but far more muted on the inside. This makes me think of the daytime vs. nighttime versions of Spaceship Earth. Am I reading too much into this?? What I don’t think I am reading too much into is the fact that the exterior colors of this bathroom are green because it is on the way to World Nature!

Bathroom Easter Egg!! Did you know there is a where you can see the Staff of Ra from Raiders of the Lost Ark?

With the Tropical Americas area shaping up at DAK I have been wondering if we will get an Indiana Jones bathroom. I LOVE Indiana Jones (I was once Marion Ravenwood for Halloween), so I would obviously be thrilled. But even if all the bathrooms in Tropical Americas are Encanto themed, we will still have an Indiana Jones bathroom: at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar!

The best part about this restroom is that it houses a “Lost and Found” locker. It’s the cage you see in between the “men” and “women” signs. If you look closely inside the locker, in a little drawer marked “jewelry,” you will see that someone has lost and not yet found the Staff of Ra!

This Fall I have the opportunity to stay at Walt Disney World Swan Reserve for the first time ever! I have only been to that property once when I was at Fantasia Gardens and wanted to check out the bathrooms in the meeting facilities at Swan Reserve. Those bathrooms have my favorite type of faucets: Sprinkly water faucets. And you’ll notice that the drain cover in this sink is also one of the decorative ones we love from Riviera Resort!

These photos are from the existing Flo’s V8 Cafe Restrooms in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, but head to my stories to see coverage from Foodatdisneyland , Matt Desmond , and Disneyland Cast & Community on the new Cars themed “Rest Stop” that just opened between Cars Land and Avengers Campus. I have been vibrating all day because this new bathroom is unreal. Walt Disney Imagineering & Disney Live Entertainment has given us such a treat with this punny and pretty Route 66 rest stop. I can only hope this bodes will for any future Piston Peak (he did what on his peak??) restrooms. Go check out my stories NOW. This new bathroom is on par with the new Casey’s Corner bathrooms, if not better!
