Watched Villains: Unfairly Ever After yesterday and honestly… Captain Hook complained, Cruella defended her fashion choices, and Maleficent had the crowd fully on her side at the end.

Then a few hours later, she turned into a dragon and tried to kill Mickey and burn the park to the ground (I have the shots to prove it). So yeah… misunderstood might’ve been a stretch. 🔥🐉

10/10 drama. Incredible lighting & stage craft. Zero trust established.

Well, it had a few bugs in it, but our show is wrapped. And now that you’re all honorary bugs… Remember: magnifying glasses are for looking at little things, not for burning little things! 🐜 It really is tough to be a bug!

After delighting (and sometimes startling!) guests for over 25 years, It’s Tough to Be a Bug has officially taken its final bow at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This 4D adventure gave us an up-close look at the world of insects—complete with Hopper’s intimidating presence and a few unexpected “crawling” sensations!

While we’ll miss the charm of Flick and his buggy friends, this space won’t by empty long. Later this year, Zootopia will bring a whole new energy to the Tree of Life Theater with Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and the crew.

Strolling Through Cherry Tree Lane… Almost!
The streets of the United Kingdom pavilion at EPCOT were empty—a rare sight and the perfect photo opportunity. As I stood there, I couldn’t help but imagine what could be.

A proper Mary Poppins attraction at Walt Disney World has long been teased, but I’m glad it wasn’t the rumored concept Imagineering was once considering, simply because of the much smaller scale experience than a film like this deserves!

With the creativity, magic, and whimsy this film offers, the possibilities are endless! It’s time to reintroduce this iconic Disney character to a new generation in a way that truly honors the legacy of the character, and the legendary & .

“Every drop tells a story!”
World of Color—the way water, light, fire, video and music blend together to bring Disney stories to life, is an awesome way to close an evening! This show takes guests on a rollercoaster of emotion, and the scale of this spectacular is truly amazing!

No matter how many times I watch, I always find a new detail, a new emotion, a new reason to be amazed. That’s the beauty of Disney—every experience feels different, as someone who loves technology, the blend of artistry and technology is inspiring, and the love that went into creating and maintaining the details of this show is not lost on me.

Love CAN be eternal... The Haunted Mansion’s ghost bride, Constance is here to remind us that relationships can be… complicated—sometimes you find ‘The One,’ and sometimes you mysteriously inherit their fortune after they vanish under suspicious circumstances.

Big Thunder Tuesday! 🚂💨
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is down until 2026 for what Disney is calling a “refurbishment”—but with that massive crane looming over the attraction, visible throughout the park, it’s looking more like a full-on rebuild! Among the changes, the old track is being completely removed and replaced with a brand-new steel track. Disney has promised “new magic” for this attraction.

A Serene Saturday To You!
One of the most incredible things about Disney’s Animal Kingdom is its ability to transport you—not just to a theme park, but to a living, breathing world. This quiet pathway along the river, with the bridge overhead, makes it feel like you’re truly in another place, stepping into the village of Harambe. No crowds, no noise, just the immersive details that make this park so special. I love the details of this park ( I’m looking at you ).

From the weathered walls to the hand-painted signs and layered storytelling, every inch of Animal Kingdom tells a story. Disney’s magic isn’t just in the rides—it’s in the atmosphere, the artistry, the sounds, and the way a simple walkway can make you feel like you’ve traveled across the world. Shots like this rotate on my computer wallpaper. :)

Happy Force Friday! Welcome aboard the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy! Or at least it was fast before I got behind the controls. Now it’s more like “the garbage…”

Flying the Millennium Falcon on Smuggler’s Run is always an adventure—sometimes you’re a hero of the Resistance, sometimes you’re just trying to keep the ship in one piece while Hondo Ohnaka yells at you. Our crew returned to Batuu with a little extra “ventilation” on the falcon. Either way, it’s a wild ride!

Are you the ace pilot of your crew, or do you prefer mashing buttons as an engineer and hoping your pilot gets you back safe?
