I offer professional photographs for weddings, pets of all kinds large & small, concerts, models & portfolio shots, portraits, special events, parties for all occasions, presentations & more. My father Frank, was a professional photographer & when I was a child, up until I was in my mid teens, I was always on the lens side of the camera, as my Pop always took photos of the family. However, when I
was still under the age of 10, my Pop would bring me with him on shoots. But being around my Pop I learned a lot about photography. By age 11, I was taught by my Pop how to develop black & white film for his clients in the late '70s, when my Pop had his first professional photography studio in Prospect Park, NJ. By age 16, I was working with my Pop when he'd shoot weddings. I'd basically reload the cameras & help with the flashes. By age 18, he bought me my first Pentax 35mm camera & taught me how to use it. Though I didn't follow in his footsteps with the business right away (I had other endeavors to pursue first), I continued to shoot through the decades. But eventually I got into the business & today I am a professional photographer. Since going digital, I have trained under some of NJ's top wedding & nature photographers, including: Denis Becker, Tori Koppenal, Will Blochinger, Callie Nesius, & others. I currently freelance for other photographers & wedding businesses, as well as shooting & doing business for myself under the name of SpyMan Photography & just recently under Mike Malzone Photography, for which I have recently posted a new website: MikeMalzone.com. I use all professional top notch equipment, including Cannon cameras & lenses by Sigma & Cannon. I do most of my shots on location, meaning I come to you or we go somewhere of your choosing. I consider my fee to be fair & within the proper field for professional photography. Don't trust someone with a cell phone, or a hobby camera set on Automatic to get you the important images you may need. Contact me & let me get you want you need. I service the eastern part of Penn, the northern part of NJ & the southern part of NY state. However anything is possible. -MCMZ1
