Happy 4th everyone! I've been going to Momo KoShu's July 4th Birthday party every single year since 2007 (that's 10 years!). Really stoked I got to capture this iconic tradition, with the birthday boy front and center.

It's officially wedding season! That means lots of pretty venues with lots of pretty people 👰 (like Kimberly Pan)

Learning update: I'm slowly growing my understanding of the power of natural lighting. Something new I learned this past weekend is actually leveraging direct sunlight to work to my advantage. You can obtain some really interesting "backlight" by placing your subject, and placing yourself as the photographer, in the right position while facing the right direction.
