Friendly reminder for those who have small children/jumpy dogs/etc...
I am grateful to hear those fireworks going off! I was even grateful last year when the loud "BOOM" of a firework woke up my 1 year old at 11pm. I chose to be grateful instead of frustrated at the neighbors because it is not an actual grenade/missile/car bomb exploding a couple 100 yards from my house. Let's remember why we celebrate today! Thank you to all who serve and have fought for our nation! We remember and celebrate today, because it was on this very soil, people went to bed at night and heard the sounds of cannons and muskets firing in their backyards 200+ years ago.

Let's choose to be grateful and thankful as we celebrate today!
