Here are some behind the scenes of Josiah preparing for our Double Exposure Moments brand photos. It was fun walking around trying to figure out good spots to shoot! The day was windy and cold, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.

Get to know the guy behind the lens: Meet Josiah! Josiah has been taking photos professionally for about four years now. He originally got his first camera when he was seventeen thinking he wanted to be a videographer, but then decided that he really enjoyed taking photos! While his main passion is wildlife and nature photography, he also loves taking photos that capture the moments that tell something about a person and what they enjoy.
Josiah has several outdoor hobbies, including fishing, hiking, camping, disc golf, and tennis. He also enjoys coffee or tea and a good book.

Two Photographers that deserve to be mentioned.
We got married a few months ago and weren’t sure where to find a decent Wedding Photographer within our budget. God answered our prayers for the perfect photographers to meet our needs: Julia and Kayla! They did a wonderful job capturing our precious memories and editing the photos to how we liked them. Julia took most of the photos of the wedding and Kayla took the getting ready and first look photos and edited all of them. Check out their pages here:

Brand photo shoots are super important for businesses, especially small businesses. These photos are some that Josiah took for Carissa for her up and coming Life Coaching business. Posing Tips!
1) Relax and Be Yourself.
2) Focus on Body Language.
Stand tall with good posture, don’t cross your arms. Relax your shoulders and keep your hands natural, such as on your sides or in your pockets.
3) Angle your Body.
Experiment with different angles to find the most flattering poses. Slight angles can add dimension and make the pose look more dynamic.
4) Use Props.
Holding a prop like a jacket or sunglasses can give you something to do with your hands. Do you play the guitar? Do you have a favorite pet? Bring them with you on your shoot!
