The Illinois River is showing its strength today, with whitecaps rolling and water spilling over its banks.
The tugs didn’t miss a beat, pushing barges up and down the river as always.
The ospreys were busy too, adding sticks to their nests. Are they getting ready for Wednesday storms?
For now, we are watching from shore and waiting for calmer days.
