I probably should have just left the outline of this next piece I am working on.. but I am curious on how many people can already tell which horse I am working on? He has such a trademark pose and just oozes attitude, so curious how fast he can be identified 🙂

I haven’t been very active lately on here, but that doesnt mean I haven’t been painting! Or continuing to save even more countless photos that inspire lol. Working on a beautiful but complex commission, so thought I’d share a completely random and unrelated painting I did of my favorite wild stallions, Kabuki, so I’m not completely forgotten lol! Thank you always for the support and encouragement given ❤

So this was a previous work that I had done, but then someone (cough cough.. mother lol) told me the background washed the horse out and I just couldn’t unsee it at that point 😅 So without further ado, here is the magnificently wild stallion, splishing all the splashes like a boss 👑

I'm sure most of you know sweet Thora, a foal ripped from her family too early. She was the only daughter from the legendary wild stallion, Thor (who might I add.. she is the absolute spitting image of!) This is a petition to try and get her back to her family, where she belongs ❤️

Hi, my name is Jamie and I’m addicted to saving all the wild animal reference photos 🫣 Especially when I hit a bit of a rut in a painting, somehow my reference photos seem to multiply lol. I need to get a move on! I always will continue to do horses, but would love to practice other wild animals as well!
