Great Egrets located just outside the I&M Canal. I saw 9 in total, I always thought they were solitary birds until I saw them gathered in numbers. They tend to hunt small fish and insects in the water.

Fantastic work, not mine. This is a water spout likely over an ocean out of the dock/pier.

Water spouts are very similar to a tornado. The only differences is that they are mostly water rather then air and they tend to be weaker.
