2024 digital scrapbook
Hi friends! Wow, where to begin. I've been on hiatus for a bit lol. Those of you that know me know I'm not a fan of social media. I decided a while back I wanted to stare at my phone less and appreciate the time I have with my family as the teenage years are starting to fly by. I have no regrets! I used to worry so much about the perfect caption, posting frequently to stay in everyone's algorithm, and then I would scroll for an hour comparing my art to other's. Comparison truly is the thief of joy. Ain't nobody got time for that! Well, yesterday was my birthday. I've stayed up late looking at old photos of my life: the places I've been, the people I love, my babies. Oh the happy tears! Thank God for photos! I'm so grateful my job lets me share happiness with the world. I realized how much I miss having a digital scrapbook of my work. So here it is β€ With each year I get older, I give myself more grace. There are no perfect captions. Are the photos even in order? Nope. But, they're there. They're beautiful and they make my so happy. I genuinely love spending time with each and every one of you! Your photos are as special to me as the photos I take of my own family. Thank you, all!
Full disclosure, I meant to make this post about a month ago, but the world has been too heavy. It just didn't feel right making happy post. I need to remind myself everyday that the only thing more powerful than hate is love. We all deserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I am going to find the good in every day. It's a little late for new year's resolution, but there it is! Giving myself grace with coming in a month and a half late on that.
