6-8-2026 I didn’t expect to see much on my walk tonight, but God has a beautiful way of slowing us down just long enough to notice the blessings around us. The sky this evening was absolutely breathtaking — a reminder that even in the simplest moments, His presence is everywhere.

Sometimes we get so focused on what’s next that we forget to appreciate what’s right in front of us — the sunset through the trees, the quiet backroads, the open sky, or the peace that comes with an evening walk. Those little moments often bring the greatest calm to our hearts.

Life moves fast, but I’m learning that not every blessing has to be big or loud. Sometimes God speaks to us through the quiet beauty we might otherwise overlook.

5/7/26 On my 2 mile walk tonight I took a few photos on my phone. Even in dry places such as Colorado with this drought, God provides living water and light for the journey. I’m thankful for the rain yesterday and the simple blessing of seeing water flowing through this ditch again. It wasn’t running last week, which isn’t normal — a reminder of how precious these everyday blessings truly are.

“You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” — Isaiah 58:11

I captured this moment and couldn’t help but feel His presence. A reminder that we are never alone, and His light is always with us.
He is risen. Hope lives.
Wishing you all a truly blessed Easter ✝️

Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (NKJV) — Gospel of Luke 21:36

Enjoy the little things we often take for granted. Turn off the noise and go within. When you ask God for the truth, He will show you. Let people talk, but remember to forgive, and move on—God knows the truth—always! Pray more, love more, and pay attention to the signs and synchronicities. Shine your light always and be kind.

Out exploring around Timpas Creek and came across a weathered skull tucked into the dirt. Not exactly sure what animal it belonged to — maybe a coyote — but it definitely made me pause. The plains have a quiet way of holding onto their stories.

And then there’s Karen. 🦃

Our very own supervisor of the property. She’s nosey, fearless, and absolutely convinced her life mission is to peck me into submission. I go out looking for peaceful nature moments… and Karen comes out to manage the situation.

From wild mysteries in the creek bed to being bullied by my own turkey — just another day around here. 😅

Lord, thank You for family, friends, and all the love that surrounds us. Bless our homes with peace, heal our hearts, and guide us with Your grace.
We lift up all of humanity—may those in need find comfort, hope, and light. Today and always, we give You thanks. Amen.

I spent my weekend chasing light, color, and calm through the lens and also spent it with family. From golden reflections on the water to a curious little squirrel stocking up for fall — each shot reminded me why I love capturing God’s artwork in nature.

Sometimes, God’s beauty speaks loudest in the quiet places — the still waters, the open roads, and the golden light breaking through the trees. Each scene is a reminder of His presence, peace, and promise. 💛

Every time I step behind the lens, I feel His hand in creation — a whisper saying “Be still and know that I am God.”

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” – Psalm 19:1 ✨

Standing beneath the trees, I felt God’s light shining through — reminding me that even when life feels heavy, His presence always breaks through the branches. His creation speaks louder than words… every leaf, every beam of sunlight whispers His love.

In moments like this, nature becomes God’s cathedral, and His angels dance in the rays of light — reminding us we are never alone. ✨️To me, those flares aren’t just light — they’re God’s gentle reminder that His angels are near, surrounding us in unseen ways.✨️

"Like a sunflower in a field, I lift my face to the light — not just any light, but the light of the Lord. For just as the sunflower follows the sun across the sky, so my soul follows after You, O God, the source of life and joy." - Unknown

“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.”
— Psalm 34:5 (NIV)

Lord, make me like a sunflower.
Teach me to turn my heart toward You,
no matter the season or storm.
When the world grows dim,
help me remember that Your light is constant.
Grow in me the strength, the joy, and the peace
that comes only from keeping my face toward You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
