An August morning on the Clinch River. I stopped to take photos of the sunrise coming through the fog. Then I noticed a deer on the bank, then a beaver in the middle of the river, then a great blue heron on the other side. I’m not a wildlife photographer by any means, so I just took the best photos I could with what I had - which was essentially portrait lenses. I watched as the deer and heron crossed the river and passed in the middle. That’s the last photo, my favorite. Taken in 2015.
