I’ve always loved photography, even as a young child when I received my favorite Mickey Mouse film camera. When I graduated from college in 2008 that opened up more time for me to find some hobbies besides homework! It was then when I purchased my first DSLR camera. Before I knew it, I was taking photos for my friends and then word of mouth got around and I was taking photos for others.

Over the past 14 years I’ve had the honor and
privilege of photographing special moments in people’s lives including engagements, weddings, starting their families, and watching those kiddos grow up in front of my lens! Over the past few years I branched out a bit more to do brand and product photography for some of my favorite local small businesses. It has been so fun to not only take photos for my friends but to become friends with clients over the years.

It’s been a wild and fun ride, but after the close of 2023, I will be stepping back from photography. I won’t say I’ll never be back, but for now, I’m looking forward to stepping into and staying open to other creative outlets. I also have some personal goals for myself that need my full attention and energy as well. Most of all I look forward to getting back to taking photos on my own terms when I feel the creative desire too. Those who have plans with me for photos in 2023, those will be honored and I look forward to ending this year with some great shoots!

With that, I just want to say that I am so thankful to everyone who I have ever taken photos for and to those who I have met along the way during this photography journey! You have all made an impact on this part of my life and made it really fun & fulfilling!

After much reflection and consideration, I have decided that in 2023 I will not be taking any new clients. I am blessed to have so many returning clients that I want to make sure they have the opportunity to book with me first, as my 2023 will be extremely limited.

If you are a client of mine, meaning we have done a shoot together, then you’ll be in the know when my books re open. I don’t anticipate that I will be booking
anything until late spring/early summer.

Another change is that I will no longer be shooting on Sundays (with the exception of branding shoots). And my Saturdays will be limited to once or twice a month.

Again, I so appreciate the support over the years! I am looking forward to stepping back a bit more and feel grateful I can do so when life calls for it ❤️

My books are fully closed for 2022! Thank you to everyone who has hired me to document your special moments. I love seeing my returning clients and meeting brand new clients and making amazing connections along the way!

Any inquiries made now until February 2023 will be answered when my calendar opens up in February. I’m currently prioritizing family time and enjoying this wonderful time of year. And then in January will be finalizing 2023 pricing and my calendar for the first part of the year.

So please stay tuned for more info on some changes in the new year!
