What a great tribute to a great man! Here is BroJo Raj's amazing performance of the song he wrote for Jim, titled "Pieces of Me"

Beautiful tribute written by fellow writer and one of the many fans of his Ridgerunner Report feature that ran weekly in the La Crosse Tribune. We miss him terribly, but it feels so good to hear from another person that was profoundly touched by his work.

"I hope you can all get out and enjoy the spring migration. Watch, listen and enjoy as nature comes alive again after this long winter. While you’re enjoying the return of spring, remember Jim Solberg, the Ridgerunner, who gave us his wonderful observations of the natural world around us."

~Howard Sherpe

One thing people of my age do is scan through the obituaries in the newspaper each day. As long as our name isn’t listed, we’re good to go for another

Hi everyone, this is Sarah & Aaron, Jim Solberg's daughter & future son-in-law. Dad/Jim isn't a Facebooker (at least for now!) and is so humble there's no way he ever would have done this on his own, but he's so talented that we decided that this page was way past due!

We've gotten to the point where people who have no mutual friends are "liking" the page, which means that you all have been spreading the word. Thanks so much for all the comments, love & recognition of his art! Keep on sharing and inviting your friends so this humble and talented man can finally get the recognition he deserves.

Here's a link to all of his Ridgerunner Reports. Enjoy!
