I had my first chance to get out and do some shooting with my Dad and my friends Patricia Denny, Scott Denny and Scott Schaub. I had a great time and am looking forward to getting out again soon. Hopefully when it gets a bit warmer. Thanks for everything.

My daughter Kendal's first attempt at photographing racing bikes at speed. I think she did quite well. That little Sony a600 really does a great job.

I had my first opportunity to photograph some motorcycle racing. My dad took me with and we met some friends there and I had a great time. I learned a lot about panning and shutterspeeds today. I have much more to learn but I did get some cool images from today.

This was my first attempt at photographing fast moving subjects at a racetrack. I had fun and learned a lot from my dad. My Sony HX400 did pretty good for a bridge camera. One other thing I learned is when they put way to much powdered sugar on a funnel cake your going to get messy.

I spent Saturday with my dad at Road America photographing the vintage auto races. We tried a few videos as well.

A memorable Memorial Day Weekend

I had my first weekend outing for photography and had a great time at the Sax Zim Bog in northern Minnesota. I saw many beautiful things and got to photograph some birds I may never get the chance to see again. I want to thank Sara, Mary Ann, and Shari for a wonderful weekend. I also was able to learn how to change a tire on the side of the road, another first for me. Thanks again to everyone who made this possible.
