If you've been wondering where I've been, the truth is... I've been spending more time in the present and behind the camera than behind a screen.

I know I probably "should" post more. In fact, I have so many beautiful sessions, sweet moments, and incredible families that I haven't shared here yet from the last year.

But as a one-woman business, there are only so many hours in the day. Between photographing sessions, editing galleries, answering emails, serving clients, being a wife and mom, and trying to leave a little room for life in between, something eventually has to take a back seat.

For me, social media is often that thing.

I've been spending more time preserving memories than posting about them, and thankfully, you all continue to trust me with your families, milestones, and stories anyway. Despite my social media not always being up to date, you continue to fill my calendar year after year, and I can never fully express how grateful I am for that.

Your referrals, kind words, and continued support have allowed me to keep doing what I love most—capturing the moments that matter.

So while I may not always show up here as often as I intend to, please know that I'm still here, camera in hand, documenting beautiful stories and serving the most incredible clients.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting a small business. And thank you for trusting me to preserve your memories. šŸ¤šŸ’›

And Thank You to the super sweet family I got to meet a couple of weeks ago! Are they not just adorable?!šŸ˜

There is something incredibly humbling about being trusted with someone’s story.

I don’t photograph many large weddings anymore. Life looks a little different these days, and my heart has shifted toward slower, more intentional seasons with my family. But every once in a while, someone reaches out and says, ā€œI don’t want anyone else to photograph this day.ā€šŸ„°

This day held even more meaning than most.
Just weeks before the wedding, the bride’s dad, Ed, was in a serious accident. There were moments when the future felt uncertain. Moments where no one knew what the outcome would be.

And yet there he was.
Walking his daughter down the aisle.
Standing beside her.
Sharing a father-daughter dance that, not long before, may have felt impossible.

There truly wasn’t a dry eye.🄹

It was one of those reminders that weddings aren’t about perfect timelines or pretty details — they’re about people, love, resilience, and the moments you realize just how much someone means to you.

It was such a privilege to be the one trusted to photograph a day this meaningful, to witness the tears, the joy, the hugs held a little longer, and the moments that mattered most.

And above all, it felt like a beautiful reminder that God is so, so good.

Because sometimes life feels uncertain… and then grace shows up in ways that leave you speechless.

Being able to preserve a story like this will never feel ordinary to me. Such an honor šŸ¤

Can we just talk about how fast this season goes? 🌸

One day they’re newborns. Then they’re toddling through the grass, laughing at nothing, completely unaware of how magical they are. And then somehow, before you even catch your breath, they’re teenagers.

Motherhood is the most beautiful, fleeting, overwhelming, incredible thing. Every single stage deserves to be remembered.

Happy almost-May, mamas. You’re doing something really special. šŸ¤

She will forget the sleepless nights. She will forget the hard days. But she will never forget how it felt to hold them close and neither will you. šŸ¤

Time moves faster than we ever expect. These moments are fleeting, and they deserve to be frozen forever.
That’s why I do what I do.

šŸ“ø Motherhood Sessions are open through May. These sessions are for every mama….the new ones, the seasoned ones, the ones in the thick of it.

Tag a mama who deserves this. And if that mama is you, slide into my DMs to book your Motherhood Session before May is gone! 🌸

Someday I’ll have more time.
Someday when things slow down.
Someday when it feels like the right moment.

But someday has a way of never arriving.

I didn’t pick up a camera because I always dreamed of this. It started on a whim, photographing my own kids because I didn’t want to forget. The way they laughed. The way they looked at me. The ordinary moments that I knew wouldn’t stay ordinary for long.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I found what God had been placing in my heart all along.

Now I get to do that for other families. To be the one who holds onto the moments they’re living too fast to catch.

That’s the thing about saying yes to what God puts in your heart. You don’t always know what it’ll become until you’re already in it.

Don’t wait for someday. The moments are happening right now.

What’s something God has placed on your heart that you’ve been putting off? Tell me below. šŸ‘‡

There’s something so sacred about being welcomed back into a home to witness a family grow, to see love stretch wider, softer, deeper.
Their third baby.
The same walls, now holding even more laughter, more movement, more life.
And somehow, they make it all look so gentle.
So full.
This is why I’ll never get over in home sessions…
because these aren’t just photos they’re pieces of a story still being written.šŸ’›

There’s something about this place that holds so much more than just memories… it holds generations.

This is the same church my family has sat in for years.
The same pews I sat in as a little girl… now holding my boys beside me.

And now, watching him practice his guitar here in the quiet, in the stillness I couldn’t help but feel just how full-circle this all is.

Time moves, seasons change…but some things stay rooted.
Faith. Family. Legacy.

And getting to witness it all from this side of motherhood
is something I’ll never take for granted.

It’s the kind of full circle moment I never want to forget.ā¤ļøšŸ™

Whenever someone finds out I have three boys they usually say something like, ā€œOh wow… you must be busy.ā€

And they’re right.

Busy chasing adventure.
Busy watching them do the things they love.
Busy laughing at the chaos and soaking up every moment.

These boys have made life louder, wilder, and so much more fun than I ever imagined.

And truthfully I feel like I hit the lottery getting to be their mom.šŸ’›

I’m in the middle of the moments I know I’ll miss one day — the practices, the late nights, the tournaments, the car snacks, the sweaty hugs after the game, the ā€œI love you, momā€

It’s busy. It’s loud. It’s a lot.

But it’s everything I prayed for x3 šŸ’™šŸ’™šŸ’™
