Things I expected to do when I became a photographer:

✔ Photograph families
✔ Photograph weddings
✔ Photograph anniversary celebrations

Things I did NOT expect:

Meeting four elephants before clocking in for a 60th anniversary event.

One of my favorite parts of this job is that I never know where it's going to take me next.

Sometimes it's a sunset family session.
Sometimes it's a courthouse wedding.
And sometimes it's standing in front of four elephants wondering how on earth this became my life.

I definitely picked the right career.

We were all watching the weather radar before this session because Central Texas weather has been completely unpredictable lately 😅

Needless to say, the weather absolutely cooperated for us and gave us the prettiest evening with the dreamiest light.

I’ve photographed this sweet family through bluebonnet season, holiday photos, and now this beautiful water-side session. Watching their twins grow and show more of their personalities every year is seriously amazing.

I need everyone to understand that I was WAITING for this newborn session.

Their maternity photos were so beautiful that one literally ended up as a cover on my website… so naturally I’ve been excited to meet this sweet girl for months now. 🥹

And she was perfect!!!

The facial expressions.
The intense eye contact.
The tiny judgmental stares because she clearly had more important things to do than take photos. 😆

Also can we talk about how sweet it is when grandparents join newborn sessions??

These sessions always remind me how tiny this stage really is. The wrinkly feet, the sleepy stretches, the way everyone looks at their sweet baby.

I love this job so much.

Spring is coming to an end and Summer is coming fast! Here are a few more bluebonnet photos from this year 🤍 I’m starting to see some really pretty wildflowers popping up close by too 😍

You may recognize this first family from my Spring Glasshouse minis AND my Red Truck Holiday minis! I love that they’re documenting their baby girl’s first year. It’s so special to look back on.

These other two families were brand new to Texas Innerbloom, and we had the best time!

Wildflowers are just getting started, and I’m so excited for what’s coming next 🌼

The last day of April feels like the perfect time to finally start sharing this year’s bluebonnet sessions 🤍

I had to share this one first.

This sweet family has done bluebonnet sessions with me every single year since 2023… and this year, they trusted me enough to drive 1.5 hours out to Muleshoe Bend when none of the 12 nearby spots were blooming. 😳

Watching their story grow over the years, from a family of three to now welcoming their newest little one, has been so special to be a part of.

That kind of trust year after year means more than I can put into words.

Getting to watch your families grow like this is one of my absolute favorite parts of what I do. These sessions always end up meaning so much more than just photos.

First family photoshoot 🥹

This sweet family was referred to me by one of my long-time clients, and getting to photograph moments like this never gets old.

Their daughter was all smiles exploring the park with mom & dad, and you could just feel how loved she is the entire time.

This is always my goal… creating a space where things feel easy, natural, and genuinely joyful - especially for those first-time sessions

I couldn’t be happier with how these turned out. 🤍

I’m not quite ready to let these go yet… 🤍

Sharing a few more from my Glasshouse minis before we officially move into bluebonnet posts.

It already feels like Spring is wrapping up now that all the minis are done, and I’m honestly just sitting here wishing I could do it all over again.

Samantha and her family have now done three sessions with me over the past year, and getting to watch her babies grow in front of my camera like this never gets old.

Bianca, her husband, and their sweet boy joined me for the first time at the Glasshouse, and we had the best time together. Those first sessions always end up being so special!

I’m so grateful to everyone who trusted me (and this new location for Texas Innerbloom) this season. It turned out even more beautiful than I imagined.

This one might just have to become a yearly tradition 🤍

This is your reminder to bring your childhood stuffy to your senior session…
and your bestie too 🤍

This session felt like summer bottled up.

We chased the sun, ventured down to the water, found bluebonnets growing straight out of the sand (still not over that??), danced on our own little “island,” and ended the evening with sandy feet and the softest golden light.

She brought her best friend along and it made the whole experience.
The laughs were real, the smiles weren’t forced, and every moment just felt easy.

And the stuffy?
The sweetest little full-circle detail. The thing you don’t realize matters until years from now.

Senior sessions should always feel carefree, personal, and completely you!

I have bluebonnet minis this evening, so it felt like the perfect time to share a little spring magic from my Glasshouse sessions 😍

Darcy & her twins have been clients of mine since 2023, and somewhere along the way they became more than just clients -They’re the kind of people who cheer you on, support you, and turn into real-life friends. Watching her babies grow each season (and now getting so close to 5 🥹) has been the sweetest thing.

And then there are families like Claudia’s, who joined me for my holiday truck minis and then booked two spring sessions back-to-back, which is the biggest compliment. I’ll actually be seeing them again this evening for bluebonnets, and I already know it’s going to be so good 🤍🪻

This is what I love most. Getting to document your families over and over again, in different seasons, and watching your stories unfold in real time.
