I'm just an old guy who loves sharing my photography.

No big production, no fancy pitch — just chasing light wherever it shows up, from Milky Way nights to jets at full afterburner to waterfalls and snow on the ridgeline.

When a photographer's flight gets delayed, this happens.

Three hours stuck at the gate, so naturally the camera came out and the tarmac became the subject. Accidental product placement from Apple, Nike and Nikon , a very serious stare into my own reflection, and more jet bridge glass shots than any sane person needs.

If you've ever turned a flight delay into a full photo shoot out of sheer boredom, you already know. Tag someone who's done the same.

Walking the sand at the Huntington Beach Airshow with the Nikon Z9 and 70-200mm, then stopping to catch these incredible planes overhead! ✈️📸

Caught the Red Bull aerobatic helicopter performing a mind-bending flip mid-air! Watching a helicopter go completely inverted never gets old.

Filmed at the airshow — hope you enjoy the view! If you love aviation and photography, be sure to hit like and subscribe for more.

Legacy F/A-18 Hornet in VFC-12 "We Train the Fleet" adversary colors — tail code NJ, side number 221. This Navy Reserve squadron out of NAS Oceana flies these Hornets in aggressor paint to play the "bad guys" in air combat training for fleet pilots. Dedicating this one to my Uncle Bill , who helped build these jets — proud to have caught one still flying and earning its keep. 🛩️

This is what full afterburner looks like up close. My second post from the Huntington Beach Airshow 2026 — this time all video, no stills. A MiG-29 banking hard, a B-25 Mitchell bomber flying history, a 4-ship jet team holding a tight diamond, and an F-35 ripping through the sky in full afterburner.

This was my first time ever filming an airshow (not just photographing one), so go easy on the edit — but I had way too much fun putting this together. Let me know which jet was your favorite, and follow along for more from this shoot. Pacific Airshow Nikon
